MPI are looking for a experienced Engineering Sales Consultant

Candidates must have a strong background in technical sales and experience from working within large scale manufacturing environments.

Our client provide automation and fluid control solutions for factory and laboratory applications. Their target sectors are automotive, food, beverage & packaging, and the life science sectors

The client is the wholly-owned subsidiary of the corporation in Japan. The UK operation is located at a substantial 14-acre site in Milton Keynes, which houses our UK offices, design, factory, and warehousing. The client is the UK and global market leader in its field.

The Role:

As a Regional Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for growing the business within the machine & device manufacturers sector by selling to senior management, supply chain, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Create and work to a sales plan
  • Develop sales by understanding customer needs and building strong relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Maintain good working relationships with their distributor sales partners
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using our CRM system

Skills and Experience:

We’d prefer sales experience and an engineering-based technical qualification, but your attitude is more important to us. If you don’t have the experience but you still think you’ve got the drive, competitiveness, people skills, apply anyway, we’ll know.
