Sales Account Manager
Location & CompensationLocation:
Berkshire (office based and client sites)
Salary: £75,000 OTE (£50,000 basic + £25,000 commission)
We are a well-established and growing audio visual, unified communications and collaboration technology integrator seeking an experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our commercial team. This role is ideal for someone established in the AV/UC space who enjoys managing end-user relationships, developing new business and positioning themselves as a trusted advisor to corporate clients.
Responsibilities- Manage, develop and grow a portfolio of end-user accounts within the corporate and professional sectors
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive engagement with end users and technology partners
- Leverage existing relationships while confidently developing opportunities from an established end-user customer database
- Act as a trusted advisor, understand client requirements and translate them into effective AV, UC and collaboration solutions
- Sell both project-based solutions and associated professional, support and managed services
- Work closely with internal delivery teams and vendor partners to ensure successful project outcomes
- Maintain a strong understanding of current and emerging AV, UC and collaboration technologies and market trends
- Accurately manage sales pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity
- Proven experience within the AV, UC and collaboration technology industry
- Demonstrable success in account management and/or business development roles
- Experience selling services (professional services, support contracts, managed services) is highly advantageous
- Confident and credible when discussing modern AV and UC solutions
- Existing end-user relationships that can be developed further
- Commercially minded, self-motivated and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ambitious, driven and keen to progress within a growing organisation
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- A key commercial role within a respected and growing AV integrator
