Sales Lead / Head of Sales – Brand Nudge

Brand Nudge is the leading Retail Data and Intelligence platform supporting some of the world’s biggest blue chips such as Nestlé, Reckitt and Kimberly Clark. We’re scaling fast and are looking for a Sales Lead / Head of Sales to build and lead our end‑to‑end new business engine across the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build & Execute a Scalable Sales Engine
    • Design and deliver a high‑performing end‑to‑end outbound and new business sales motion
    • Create scalable prospecting systems across channels: email, Linked In, cold calling, partnerships, events and strategic outreach
    • Own pipeline generation and closing performance, creating a clear and measurable route to revenue growth
    • Implement robust sales process, forecasting discipline and reporting cadence
  • Value Proposition & Messaging Mastery
    • Craft and refine compelling value proposition, positioning and outbound messaging
    • Continually test, optimise and improve conversion across outbound sequences
    • Translate Brand Nudge’s product strengths into clear business outcomes for retail and CPG audiences
  • Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
    • Develop go‑to‑market plans and design team structures and recruitment strategies for new verticals, new products and overseas markets
    • Identify emerging opportunities, partnerships and routes to market
    • Provide market intelligence to support growth strategy and product direction
  • Exec‑Level Engagement
    • Engage and influence senior decision‑makers: commercial, digital, pricing, category, e‑commerce and insights leaders
    • Run high‑impact discovery, consultative sales and commercial negotiation
    • Build trusted relationships and position Brand Nudge as a strategic partner
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Product/Development to share market insight and influence the product roadmap
    • Proactively drive upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing customers through collaboration with CS team
    • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure learning loops between retention, expansion and acquisition
Qualifications
  • Essential Experience
    • Proven experience in building and executing an end‑to‑end sales engine, including outbound motion design and pipeline creation
    • Track record of building pipeline without relying on inbound leads
    • Strong ability to develop outbound strategies and execute across email, Linked In, cold calling and multi‑touch sequences
    • Strategic thinking: ability to design scalable sales processes, prioritise markets, and refine target segments
    • Deep experience in consultative B2B selling and ability to operate at exec and C‑suite level
    • Craft and refine value proposition messaging and continuously improve outbound effectiveness
    • Highly structured, methodical approach to sales with strong process discipline and attention to detail
    • Experience with sales tech stack setup and usage (Hub Spot, Zoominfo, Lemlist, Salesloft, Apollo, Cognism, Linked In Sales Navigator etc.)
    • Experience selling into multi‑stakeholder enterprise buying groups and navigating long sales cycles
  • Highly Desired
    • Knowledge of Retail, CPG, FMCG and dynamics that drive buying decisions in these sectors
    • Experience selling retail data / analytics / insight SaaS, including pricing & promotions analytics, digital shelf/e‑commerce analytics, commodity pricing & cost intelligence, inventory and availability data, and market share intelligence
    • Previous leadership experience or demonstrable readiness to lead as the function scales
    • Exposure to international sales / selling cross‑border markets
    • Experience in product‑led sales environments where messaging and positioning are critical
    • Familiarity with retail media networks and e‑commerce transformation trends
