Overview
Key Accounts Manager role at Renault Trucks. Field-based position covering the UK. A current driving license and willingness to travel and stay away from home as needed are required.
We are a team of 6, with 5 KAMs covering the UK and reporting to the National Key Account Manager. In conjunction with the National Key Account Manager, we establish an agreed business and action plan to identify and develop sales opportunities for our nominated accounts.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships within a portfolio of nominated key accounts and prospects to maximise volumes and margins on vehicles in line with the current business plan. Relationship management includes ensuring customer satisfaction across all aspects of the business relationship by working closely with all other departments to proactively manage all business interactions and resolutions.
- Maintain correct levels of contact with the respective dealers to provide professional support to the Key Accounts and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
- Provide concise reports on key Fleet activities including forward order predictions, market information, and highlighting potential sales opportunities.
- Utilise the Company’s IT tools effectively to respond to requests for quotation and move opportunities through the sales stages to build, deliver and invoice.
- Negotiate agreements with a portfolio of accounts and collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs.
- Ensure successful application and continued fulfilment of the agreements, including delivery of vehicles into service, securing aftermarket support, evaluating customer satisfaction, and implementing corrective action plans where necessary.
- Experience in high-value sales and knowledge of complex commercial offers.
- Proven experience in relationship management with knowledge of legal and financial rules associated with key account protocols.
- Ability to present and communicate at all levels and with all audiences.
- Commercially aware with demonstrated strategic thinking ability.
- Strong negotiator with the ability to influence across other business areas.
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable with regular travel.
