Our client, an expert in archiving and digital preservation of valuable data, is seeking a self‑motivated Sales Development Representative to join their growing sales team. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and ideally a background of selling into Pharmaceutical and Life Science organisations, or a thorough understanding of that market.

Responsibilities
  • Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.
  • Utilise Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Build long‑term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
Skills / Experience
  • Demonstrable experience of over‑achieving against sales targets.
  • An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and ongoing communication with customers and business associates.
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
  • Written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of social selling using tools such as Linked In Sales Navigator.
  • Team working skills and a collaborative approach to work.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
  • Demonstrable success in a sales role.
  • Experience selling SaaS and Cloud Solutions.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical / life science industry highly beneficial.
