Job Overview

This role is responsible for understanding HP’s Advanced Compute Solutions portfolio, engaging with key clients, and designing customized solutions while guiding team members on technical specifications that drive desired client outcomes. The candidate will conduct market research, identify new opportunities, and maximize customer loyalty while ensuring regulatory compliance and acting as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of HP’s products and industry, staying up-to-date on ACS portfolio advancements and effectively articulating benefits to clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on configurations and solutions, ensuring optimized outcomes and compatibility with relevant software.
  • Engage key stakeholders—including executives and decision makers—to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Design customized solutions by collaborating with client product experts and engineers; travel to customer locations to assess environments.
  • Identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones, boosting the sales pipeline through proactive pursuit.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and emerging opportunities, providing insights to internal teams.
  • Support new and existing business in the district, guiding customers through roadmap transitions and configuration best‑practice.
  • Create configurations using tools such as One Config and maintain accurate pricing/builds.
  • Collect client feedback to refine offerings and guide new product development.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all engagements are compliant.
  • Act as point of contact for resolving client issues, coordinating with support or service teams for prompt resolution.
Education & Experience
  • Four‑year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 7–10 years of technical selling, consultative selling, or account management experience.
