Quality Inspector - Manufacturing
Location:
Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Reading who are looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their growing quality team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished components
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Use a range of measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges, CMM advantageous)
- Identify non-conformances and raise quality reports
- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Experience using manual inspection tools (CMM experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards preferred
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
