Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, located in Reading, for a Community Fundraiser. The Community Fundraiser will be responsible for building relationships with individual donors, businesses, and community organisations to secure funding and support for Launchpad’s initiatives. This role involves planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns, managing donor communications, financial reporting, and ensuring fundraising goals are met to sustain the organisation’s goals.

The candidate will also act as an advocate for Launchpad’s mission by raising awareness about homelessness prevention and support services within the community.

Qualifications
  • Fundraising and donor relationship management skills, and event planning experience
  • Great communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with community members, donors, and stakeholders
  • Project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple fundraising projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in developing fundraising initiatives
  • Proficiency in using fundraising and CRM software to manage donor databases and track contributions
  • Experience or knowledge in the non-profit sector or community development is highly desirable
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a passion for supporting at-risk individuals and addressing homelessness
