Laboratory Technician - Reading - Up to £19.81/hr - Inside IR35

What You Will Do:

• Provide hands-on assistance in laboratory operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.
• Administer samples for scientific analysis, including creating records, assigning tests, and maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples.
• Perform routine pharmacopoeial analysis and operate basic laboratory equipment under supervision.
• Use laboratory software systems, including LIMS and Q-Pulse, to input results and manage data effectively.
• Conduct experiments, support assigned projects, and contribute to technical reports under guidance.
• Assist with laboratory housekeeping, routine equipment checks, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.

What You Will Bring:

• A scientific background gained through education or technical apprenticeship.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using relevant software applications and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A proactive, adaptable, and hardworking attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

These roles are intended to become permanent after an initial six-month period. As such, we are unable to consider candidates currently on a Graduate or Post-Study Work Visa.
