Reporting to the Managing Director
, the Client Services Director is responsible and accountable for all accounts in the cluster and for the strategic and financial planning of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Client Management
    :
    Responsible for all the accounts in the cluster and business development.
    • Responsible for strategic planning & setting long‑term goals.
    • Responsible for ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
    • Work closely with other departments and clusters to identify needs and opportunities, and constantly improve internal collaboration.
  • Revenue
    :
    • Ensure that all accounts deliver expected revenue targets and profitability.
    • Overall revenue accounting of minimum ~7m+.
  • Project Management
    :
    • Supervises the Research team to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high standards of quality.
    • Provides support to Research teams during client meetings and for complex/strategic research proposals or tenders.
  • People
    :
    • Manages a minimum of 10 team members directly or indirectly.
    • Mentors teams in research skills and career development.
    • Manages team budget and resources.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of higher education with knowledge in market research and/or sensory research.
  • Knowledge of food and/or cosmetic products, quantitative consumer research methodologies, sensory methodologies, and statistics.
  • Significant experience in a Research manager role at SAM or other companies.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring research teams.
  • Skills in managing budgets.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficiency in MS Office:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong leadership abilities to manage teams and oversee large‑scale research initiatives.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Rigorous, responsive and proactive.
