We’re excited to be partnering with a leading UK infrastructure and construction organisation to recruit for a Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that delivers some of the UK’s most ambitious and meaningful projects. Developing, building, and maintaining vital infrastructure that strengthens communities and supports national economies.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on leading teams, driving sustainability strategy, and making a real impact. You’ll be managing and coaching a team of three advisors, nurturing their growth while ensuring sustainability is embedded across projects. Flexibility to travel and engage with your team on-site is key.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead the Sustainability Vision: Champion initiatives that embed sustainability across projects and regions.
  • Grow and Guide Your Team: Manage and mentor three talented advisors, helping them thrive and develop their careers.
  • Influence and Collaborate: Build trusted relationships with clients, regulators, and supply chain partners to shape strategic direction.
  • Ensure Excellence: Oversee environmental governance and compliance, setting the standard for best practice.
  • Drive Innovation: Turn sustainability data into actionable improvements and lead continuous progress across projects.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A Natural Leader: Experienced in managing and developing teams, with a genuine passion for coaching and growth.
  • Strategic and Forward-Thinking: Deep understanding of sustainability trends and their impact on business and society.
  • Industry Savvy: Background in secure environments such as Defence or Nuclear, with expertise in carbon management.
  • Flexible and Mobile: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites to support your team and the projects across the Home Counties and Southern England.
