We are looking for 2 trustees to join our exceptional board to play a pivotal role in ensuring we continue delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed services, championing the welfare of vulnerable families, and shaping supportive policies that protect children and strengthen communities.

What difference will you make? Trustees at PACT make a lasting impact – we have supported families since 1911 through adoption and lifelong support. As an Ofsted outstanding rated service, we placed 84 children last year. We provide trauma‑informed services. Our Alana House programme empowers women facing disadvantage, while Bounce Back 4 Kids helps children and non‑abusing parents recover from domestic abuse.

What are we looking for? We welcome applications from all backgrounds and actively encourage applications from individuals from underrepresented groups, including those with lived experience of adoption, care or disadvantage. Diversity of thought and experience strengthens our Board, and your perspective will help us deliver inclusive, high‑quality services for children and families. You do not need previous trustee experience as we will provide a full induction and ongoing training.

What will you be doing?

• Safeguarding Lead Trustee: provide strong understanding and experience of safeguarding legislation, especially in children’s social care.
• HR Lead Trustee: bring significant experience within HR at a strategic level with passion and insight to help support and challenge, ensuring all our PACT colleagues thrive.
