An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established and growing law firm based in Reading
.
The firm’s Residential Property team handles a broad range of non-contentious residential property work
, including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, and lease extensions. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team, supervising junior colleagues, managing your own caseload, and providing high-quality, client‑focused advice.

Duties include:- Advising on the full breadth of residential property transactional work
- Supervising and supporting the development of junior team members
- Delivering consistently high levels of client care and service
- Making an active, positive contribution to a dynamic and ambitious team
- Keeping up to date with key issues within residential property law and sharing knowledge across the team
- Developing referral opportunities across the firm and engaging in business development initiatives
- 6+ years PQE (CILEX lawyers or Licensed Conveyancers considered)
- Strong experience in residential property
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and supervise junior team members
- Excellent technical, drafting, and commercial skills
- Strong relationship-building and client service focus
