The RoleAs a Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability claims
, making key decisions within agreed authority limits while delivering outstanding customer support.
You will play a central role in ensuring claims are handled fairly, efficiently and in line with UK regulatory standards, while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the company’s claims proposition.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability claims within agreed authority limits
- Ensure claims are handled in line with UK legislation, industry guidelines and best practice
- Provide compassionate, customer-focused support throughout the claims journey
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Identify trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the development and growth of the disability claims offering
- Proven experience managing Life, Critical Illness and/or Disability claims
- Strong understanding of the UK protection insurance market and regulatory framework
- Experience working within agreed claims authority levels
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for achieving the best outcome for customers
- Strong communication and organisational skills
