Senior Capability Specialist (Workforce Manager / Workforce Capability Specialist)

Location: Burghfield (60% onsite)

Contract: 12 months, IR35 In Scope

Security Clearance: DV required

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Capability Specialist to join a dynamic team, supporting workforce capability management in a complex, fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on analysing people data, influencing senior stakeholders, and shaping workforce planning to ensure delivery excellence.

• Act as the single point of focus for workforce capability information, providing analysis, reporting, and insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define current and future workforce skills and capability requirements.
• Maintain and analyse workforce capability data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Document and manage workforce risks, including Single Points of Failure and safety-critical roles.
• Present regular workforce reporting to senior leadership and business teams.
• Work with enabling functions and Finance to ensure resources and budgets align with delivery objectives.

• Proven experience in capability management and business governance in complex environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills; able to influence at all levels
• Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Proficient in Excel; GDPR knowledge and experience handling sensitive data
• Power BI experience
• Knowledge of Workday and Workday reporting
• Understanding of regulatory requirements on nuclear-licensed sites
• Familiarity with change management tools such as Lean, Kaizen, ADKAR
