IT Field Engineer - Berkshire

We are looking for a confident and technically capable Field Engineer to support key clients across Berkshire and Wiltshire. This is not simply a reactive support role. You will be relied upon to maintain stable, high‑performing environments while acting as a trusted technical partner to your clients.

You will serve as the link between client sites and internal teams, combining strong troubleshooting capability with clear communication and excellent service delivery.

• Managing escalated technical support tickets from 1st Line, resolving more complex issues
• Conducting thorough root cause analysis rather than applying short‑term fixes
• Supporting users remotely and attending site visits when required
• Providing clear technical guidance and practical solutions to end users
• Accurately documenting incidents and resolutions within the ticketing system
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement
• Contributing ideas to improve processes and overall service delivery

Have strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Entra , Windows Server and core networking fundamentals
