Role Overview:

The Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager will lead complex, multi-project programs in the telecom domain, specifically within wholesale LOB. This role combines strong technical expertise with program management skills to ensure successful delivery of large-scale IT transformation initiatives for global telecom clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end delivery of strategic programs involving OSS/BSS systems and wholesale processes.
• Define program scope, technical architecture alignment, timelines, and success metrics.
• Technical Oversight:
• Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure technical integrity of solutions.
• Review designs, integration plans, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary technical and delivery interface for client leadership.
• Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business and technical objectives.
• Governance & Reporting:
• Establish governance frameworks, track KPIs, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Conduct regular program reviews and executive-level reporting.
• Identify technical and delivery risks early; implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage program budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
• Mentor technical leads and delivery managers for performance excellence.
• Drive adoption of Agile/Dev Ops practices and automation initiatives.
• Implement best practices for technical delivery efficiency and quality improvement.

Skills & Experience:

• Domain Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of telecom wholesale processes: interconnect, roaming, carrier billing, settlements, and partner management.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Deep knowledge of OSS/BSS systems, mediation, rating, billing platforms, APIs, and integration frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization.
• Program Management:
  • 12+ years of IT delivery experience, with at least 5 years in technical program management.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar programs.
• Certifications:
  • PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Leadership & Communication:
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
  • Ability to manage global delivery teams and vendors.
• Tools & Methodologies:
  • Proficiency in Agile, Dev Ops, and ITIL practices.
  • Experience with Jira, MS Project, and other program management tools.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
