Base pay rangeWestcoast Cloud are one of the UK and Ireland’s leading indirect cloud distributors specialising in managed cloud services and solutions. We have grown from 5 to more than 70 staff and we currently provide this service to partners and hold large market share across all indirect distributors in each of the Microsoft service pillars (Modern Workplace (Office 365), Intelligent Cloud (Azure) and Power Platform (Dynamics)).
This position is offered on a hybrid basis, working three days per week from our modern offices in Theale, Reading (near M4 Junction 12), which feature ample parking and are conveniently located near Theale Train Station.
TheJob Role
The Sure Step Sales Specialist for Security is responsible for driving Security acquisition with partners in the Indirect ecosystems. Security sellers need a high level of drive to hunt for new business/customers in the Indirect business with partners. A successful hunter needs to be results oriented, driven and excel in working in a dynamic sales environment. The seller must have the ability to pitch and understand the Microsoft Security value proposition to Partners and their customers to enable sales to new customers.
YourDay-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Drive new cybersecurity customer acquisition and activation to service SMB customers at scale.
- Consult resellers on Designations label and webinars for acquisition;
Stimulate IP activities with low performing resellers. - Ensure resellers are leveraging incentives. Align impact of Top Resellers with the Co‑op Investments of the Indirect Providers.
- Provide reseller assistance and increase in acquisition opportunity and customer wins.
- Increase reseller GAT and drive GTM execution with partners.
- Mandatory attendance of Microsoft driven Sure Step events like Sure Step Summits and Bootcamps.
- Recommend Microsoft as system to Partners;
Pitch Perfect Badge for Security.
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Sales, Partner Solution Selling, security solution selling, and business development experience.
- Experience of Microsoft security products or similar solutions.
- Experience working in the distribution channel for Small & Medium Business (SMB) customers.
- Basic understanding of Security and the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
- Preferably experience working at a Partner/Hoster/Telco/Service Provider or competing technology vendor.
