What You’ll Do as Global People & Culture Policy Manager- Own the end to end design, development, governance, and global implementation of People & Culture (P&C) policies, setting global standards while partnering with COEs and Country Leaders to balance consistency with local legal and cultural requirements.
- Lead the creation, evolution, and embedding of a Global P&C Policy Governance Framework, ensuring alignment with P&C strategy, Primark Values, D&I priorities and compliance with global laws, regulations, and privacy obligations such as GDPR.
- Act as the global subject matter expert for P&C policy, maintaining deep ER/IR expertise, monitoring global trends, providing authoritative guidance, and making strategic recommendations to ensure policies remain progressive and best practice aligned.
- Build strong senior cross functional partnerships with Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to identify, mitigate, and manage global and local risks, while ensuring consistent interpretation and deployment of policies across all regions.
- Lead global communication, training, and implementation strategies, partnering with Learning & Development to create materials, supporting regional teams, managing translations, and driving consistent adoption of policy frameworks.
- Oversee ongoing governance, benchmarking, monitoring, and reporting of global policies, including effectiveness, compliance, risks, and required improvements, while maintaining audit ready documentation and contributing to global projects where needed.

What You’ll Bring- 5‑7 years of HR experience operating at manager level, accountable for HR policy development, governance, implementation, and risk mitigation within global or multi‑market environments.
- Proven capability in creating, adapting, and rolling out HR policies across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with global standards while remaining fully compliant with local legislation.
- Strong experience collaborating with HR teams and cross‑functional stakeholders locally and globally, driving consistency and effective policy adoption.
- Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations compliance, with a solid track record of identifying, mitigating, and managing organisational risk.
- Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and operating autonomously in complex, fast‑paced, ambiguous organisational contexts.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and foster strong networks across diverse territories.
