As a Senior Researcher you will gain experience in all aspects of executive search and interim hiring processes. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and hone your skills to become an independent billing Partner in the future. You will demonstrate the ability to work both autonomously and within a team and be comfortable working in a target driven environment, supporting the delivery of roles from inception through to offer management.
You will learn to develop skills to demonstrate added value in the whole Executive Search process and will influence the way the team works by feedback on best practice. Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with the partner (or Client Partner) to prepare supporting documents including a Client Brief, competency screener, advert copy (where relevant) and other necessary procedures to ensure Aston Fisher search and interim best practice.
- Contribute / lead client pitch proposals and documentation.
- Ability to manage and deliver on multiple roles simultaneously.
- Develop a long list / talent pipeline by identifying target companies and candidates to approach.
- Intelligently approach target companies and candidates using the telephone, email, Linked In and other automation software to present the role and Aston Fisher’s credentials.
- Complete technical competency interviews with relevant candidates to generate long lists and shortlists of qualified candidates for each project.
- Capture candidate information on the Company’s internal database.
- Where relevant you will need to manage responses to advertised roles and assess candidates to the role profile and required competencies to support the delivery of longlist / shortlists.
- Produce written candidate and market client reports.
- Arrange interviews with the client and over time, manage the feedback process directly with clients.
- Work with Client Partner on offer management.
- Develop insight papers on industry themes based on market commentary and observations.
- Gain market intelligence from each candidate call to support business development efforts across the firm.
- Executive recruitment experience ideally gained in a retained executive search or interim business.
- Comfortable conducting candidate assessment interviews.
- Can demonstrate independent working in generating longlist/shortlist for clients. Ideally this will have been gained in the relevant market sectors outlined above (not a prerequisite).
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Comfortable operating with senior executives as candidates / clients.
- Ability to work across multiple projects with the ability to deliver to specified deadlines.
- Can demonstrate a strong appetite for learning and self-development.
