A progressive and inclusive SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. This is a full‑time, long‑term position ideal for graduates or individuals looking to build experience in mental health, psychology, or education.
The school supports pupils aged 5-16 with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and trauma‑related challenges. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide consistent support to help pupils regulate emotions, build resilience, and engage positively in learning.

Reading - Salary: £89‑£100 per day
- Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm - Start Date:
ASAP - Ideal for:
Psychology, Counselling, Criminology graduates or aspiring Therapists, Social Workers, or Teachers
- Provide 1:1 and small group emotional support
- Implement behaviour and therapeutic strategies
- Support students with emotional regulation and coping skills
- Assist teachers in creating a calm and structured classroom
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
