Role Overview
We are seeking a confident and detail‑driven Unbilled Billing Administrator to join our team in Reading. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong customer service experience-particularly from a call‑centre or high‑volume environment-who enjoys resolving complex queries and delivering excellent service.
You will be responsible for investigating billing discrepancies, processing adjustments, supporting internal teams, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely bills.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
Act as an internal contact for billing queries and own the resolution process
Process billing adjustments, including credits and debits
Communicate outcomes clearly with customers and colleagues
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Share knowledge and support effective billing processes
Candidate Requirements
Strong customer service experience (call centre experience highly beneficial)
Confident communicating with customers by phone
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment
Energy/Utilities industry experience is desirable but not essential
Able to obtain BPSS clearance
