ASAP Start | Full-Time SEN Role
Do you want to make a direct impact on children's mental health while gaining valuable experience in a specialist setting?
A supportive SEN school in Reading is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to work with pupils who experience anxiety, emotional distress, Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. This role focuses on promoting emotional wellbeing and helping students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you'll support students through structured routines, emotional check-ins, and positive behaviour strategies. You'll work both 1:1 and in small groups, collaborating closely with SEN teachers and therapeutic staff.

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
