We are seeking hardworking, flexible, and empathetic Relief Support Workers to join our team at the Extra Care Service at Heysham Gardens, Carlisle. The service is a purpose-built scheme that offers independent living opportunities for older people in a friendly, inclusive, and safe environment.

Our goal is for service users to lead active and positive lives. To achieve this, we need individuals to deliver personalized extra care services. The ideal candidates are passionate about providing dedicated care and support to older people, engaging with service users, and building trusting therapeutic relationships. Good communication skills and the ability to provide respectful personal care are essential.

• Dedicated, flexible, and responsive individuals
• Ability to provide personalized support aligned with recovery principles
• Motivated with a positive outlook
• Ability to engage and motivate individuals in activities
• Understanding of daily challenges faced by clients and supported living care delivery
• At least twelve months of support-related experience
• Willingness to work flexible shifts on a relief basis
• Enjoy working as part of a team
