If you’re looking for a role that’s both meaningful and full of opportunities to grow, you might find your next step with us.
We’re excited to welcome a Therapy Assistant (Band
3) into our friendly, well‑established team.
You’ll be joining an established, supportive Multidisciplinary Team providing rehabilitation to people with neurological conditions in their own homes. We work across the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service and the Early Supported Discharge for Stroke service, helping patients regain independence and achieve the goals that matter most to them.
The Therapy Assistant role is pivotal, and you will work closely together with all of the other team members to support patients’ rehabilitation, manage their neurological condition and achieve their goals.
As part of the role, you’ll visit patients in their homes and in community settings, so access to your own vehicle is essential. After a thorough induction, you’ll deliver rehabilitation and education sessions both independently and alongside other team members. Your day‑to‑day work will be varied and tailored to each patient’s needs.
You’ll be joining a team with a wealth of specialist knowledge, links and experience, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and develop within neurological rehabilitation. Our team includes Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Stroke Rehab Nurses, Administrators and Therapy Assistants.
We encourage anyone interested in the role to get in touch for an informal conversation before applying. If you’d like more information or have any questions, please feel free to contact our Deputy Service Lead, Louisa Gill, on .
The ethos of the team is:
A team of neuro rehabilitation specialists assisting people to manage their neurological condition and achieve their goals, in their chosen environment, aiming towards greater independence in everyday life.
The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week, though we’re very happy to consider applicants who are looking for part‑time hours.
