Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist - Special Schools

We have an exciting opportunity for a new or experienced Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join our fantastic CYPIT team on a part time basis for a 1-year fixed-term contract.
You will be based at Addington School in Wokingham where you will manage your own complex caseload treating patients using an impact-based model of clinical decision making. You'll also run school holiday clinics for children without EHCPs.
Although you will be school based you will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team of Oilleals OFs, Physios & Assistants with opportunities体系 to shadow other therapists, attend training and have involvement in service development.

Main duties of the jobProvide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex communication needs
Opportunity to work alongside, and learn from experienced therapists
Be involved in the implementation of training packages
Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records

The must haves for this role:
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registered with HCPC
Experience (including placement experience) in working with children or adults with additional needs
Ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites within Wokingham
