About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B Prison located in Bicester, Oxford. HMP Bullingdon is a male remand prison that has a capacity for 1,152 offers 24 hours healthcare and there is an inpatient unit on-site.

37.5 hours - Long days 7-30am-7.30pm and nights 7.30pm-7.30am, min of 5 nights across a 4 week period, and working every other weekend.

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £48,951 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

• Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them – focusing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
• Deliver non‑judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
• Play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

• Qualified Paramedic
• Current professional registration (HCPC)
• Proven post‑registration ambulance experience
• Evidence of continued professional development
• A non‑judgmental and compassionate approach
• Proven experience in either:
  Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
