Wade Macdonald are currently working with a well-established organisation operating within a project-driven environment, supporting large-scale developments across the UK. They have built a strong reputation for quality delivery, operational excellence, and dependable service within their field.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a growing finance function in a commercially focused role. Working closely with senior members of the team, you will support financial performance monitoring across multiple projects while gaining valuable exposure to commercial reporting and analysis within a project-based environment.

• Assisting with the preparation and management of Contract Valuation Reports (CVR)
• Ensuring financial inputs are accurate and validated before reporting
• Producing regular financial reports to support performance monitoring
• Carrying out additional financial and commercial analysis when required
• Maintaining project budgets and tracking changes
• Reflecting cash flow changes within project reporting processes
• Collaborating with colleagues on daily financial and analytical tasks
• Supporting wider finance and commercial activities as needed

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, and good knowledge of Microsoft Office. They will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Clear communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach are essential. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business would be advantageous.
