Trade Finance Manager

• We’re looking for someone to deliver a best-in‑class customer experience, making sure the customer receives the best banking solutions for their needs
• Specialising in working capital sales, you’ll be delivering against stretching, dynamic business development, business retention and financial targets
• This is an opportunity to build strong relationships with the key stakeholders and across your network at the bank, helping you to grow your career

With strategy at the forefront of your mind, you’ll deliver on financial targets linked to key sales campaigns and secure new trade finance business from new and existing customers. You’ll also identify origination opportunities with the sales line team to deliver optimum benefits to transaction services. Your natural communication skills will capture your audiences at client pitches, and you’ll have the discipline and talent to write proposals and responses to tender documents.

You’ll also be:

• Promoting the trade finance business by attending internal, industry and customer events at regional level
• Building client and competitor insights and sharing these with colleagues
• Driving process and education efficiencies throughout your region
• Using our sales management tools to track all origination activity
• Identifying risks in your area of responsibility and mitigating them

You’ll bring a strong customer focus to this role along with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. A keen eye for detail is always a bonus and if you’re experienced in the transaction banking business, you’ll be welcome here.

You’ll also be expected to have:

• A proven track record in an origination role, where direct accountability for financial targets is a key focus
• Experience in developing business for both new and existing clients
• A proven operational risk acumen
• Knowledge of the regulatory agenda in the financial services market
