Overview
Are you a qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in statutory reporting and financial controls? This is your chance to lead a financial reporting team within a purpose-driven organisation that's making a real difference.
The RoleAs Senior Financial Accountant, you ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, governance, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the year-end accounting process to produce statutory and consolidated financial statements.
- Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
- Managing monthly balance sheet reviews, analytical reporting, and developing robust controls and processes.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns, corporation tax declarations, and other statutory submissions.
- Providing technical expertise on accounting, VAT, and tax matters while supporting process improvements.
- Producing short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to inform investment decisions.
- Contributing to strategic finance projects and deputising for the Financial Controller when required.

Qualification:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA essential. - Experience: Proven track record in statutory reporting, financial analysis, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK GAAP, VAT regulations, and financial systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities with advanced Excel skills.
- Attributes: A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
