Do you enjoy building trusted, long‑term relationships with global clients while managing complex, multi‑country Trade Credit programmes? Are you motivated by the opportunity to combine technical expertise, commercial insight and global collaboration to help clients make better decisions? Aon Credit Solutions are currently looking for a Client Manager to join our Credit Solutions Global Clients team.

This is a hybrid role providing flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our offices based in Reading, London or Chelmsford.

About Credit Solutions

Aon Credit Solutions provides a range of complementary solutions designed to help businesses manage trade credit risk, support sustainable growth and improve access to trade finance. We are the leading global trade credit broker, with a significant presence across the UK and Ireland and a global team of over 550 colleagues operating in 57 countries worldwide.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What a Day Will Look Like

You will work as part of a multi‑skilled broking team, supporting Client Directors in managing strategic and global client relationships while maintaining responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will engage with clients, insurers, and colleagues to manage day‑to‑day policy administration activities, including:

  • Gather and analyse client requirements to prepare comprehensive market submissions, proactively follow up with insurers for coverage indications, present terms, and prepare detailed renewal reports.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities, collaborating with the team to achieve individual and collective new business targets.
  • Manage policy renewals within your own client portfolio and assist Client Directors in the renewal process for global and strategic clients.
  • Coordinate with colleagues across the Aon global network to support global client programs.
  • Prepare for and attend client and insurer meetings or conference calls, ensuring timely follow‑up on meeting notes and action items.
  • Oversee the credit limit process, including applications, follow‑ups, and providing feedback to clients.
  • Support clients with non‑payment notifications and coordinate with insurers as needed.
  • Assist with the claims submission and broking process to ensure efficient resolution.
  • Negotiate policy wordings and ensure the timely delivery of accurate policy documentation.
  • Provide clients with training and guidance on policy terms and conditions to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Collect and analyse policy and market data, producing insightful reports and professional presentations.
How this opportunity is different

This role offers the chance to work within a market‑leading, client‑focused team where your voice is heard and your contributions are recognised. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in our global Trade Credit team, as well as across the wider Aon network, giving you exposure to a broad range of clients and industry sectors. Unlike many similar positions in the market, you will be empowered to shape how we solve problems for clients.

At the same time, you will be supported by an experienced team leader who is invested in your development, alongside established Aon training programmes and a culture that encourages you to bring your ideas and your whole self to work.
