Overview
A major UK organisation is seeking a qualified Finance & Treasury Controller to lead a team responsible for treasury accounting and financial reporting within a high-profile finance team. This role offers exposure to one of the largest corporate portfolios in the UK.
As Finance & Treasury Controller, you’ll be the key accounting specialist within Treasury & Reporting, working directly with the Group Treasurer. You’ll lead a small team and collaborate closely with Financial Reporting, Tax, and external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role offers exposure to complex financial instruments and strategic decision-making at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead treasury accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments
- Ensure IFRS compliance and accurate disclosures
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams
- Produce Board-level reports and judgement papers
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with strong treasury and financial reporting experience
- Skilled in Excel and systems like SAP/HFM
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and collaborative
- Strong communicator and team leader
Salary and benefits package on offer will vary depending on experience. Base Salary £90,000-£110,000, 25% bonus, 25 days holiday, competitive pension, PMI and hybrid working – 2 days in office.
