Senior Project Manager

This role requires a solid background in groundworks and extensive experience managing civil engineering projects on large-scale infrastructure schemes.

• Managing end-to-end delivery of groundworks packages on highways projects
• Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met
• Planning and scheduling project activities to optimise resources and minimise delays
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across all site activities
  
  Monitoring progress and providing technical guidance to resolve site issues promptly
• Managing budgets and control of project costs to deliver value
• Preparing progress reports and maintaining detailed project documentation
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Significant experience in groundworks within civil engineering or highways projects
• Strong understanding of project management principles and industry best practices
• Proficiency in programme management and resource planning
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• Understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to civil groundworks
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Relevant industry qualifications, such as PTS Civils - Project Management
