With ambitious growth targets in the water resources planning market, we are seeking enthusiastic professionals with several years of experience in the water industry to play central roles in delivering our workload.

- Support water resource projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.
- Apply technical skills in WRMPs, Drought Plans, WINEP investigations, and water resource modelling (e.g., Pywr, Aquator, Miser).
- Conduct hydrological analysis and contribute to technical report writing.
- Support the wider Water and Environment department, collaborating on projects with groundwater, water quality, and flood risk teams.
We welcome applicants from varied backgrounds who have recent experience applying water resource knowledge in policy and technical areas. While we do not expect a candidate to fulfill all requirements at this stage, key capabilities include:
- Strong grasp of UK water resource management and drought planning regulations and processes.
- Practical experience contributing to WRMPs, drought plans, and regional strategies.
- Expertise in supply‑demand balance, hydrological assessments, demand forecasting, and options appraisal.
- Proficiency in hydrological analysis using tools such as Excel, HYSIM, or GR6J, and GIS.
- Direct experience with water resource modelling tools such as Pywr, Miser, or Aquator.
- Strong numerical skills and a willingness to learn.
