Site Engineer — Gortmore Ltd

We are a leading contractor looking for a Site Engineer for a civil project in the Reading area.
Base Pay RangeThis range is provided by Gortmore Ltd. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Have previous experience working on civil projects involving piling, groundworks, etc.
- Must have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations, and GPS.
- Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to the site team; ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control.
- Ensure works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
- Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills in distributing project information to colleagues.
- Have excellent problem‑solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
