About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Analyst or Commercial Analyst to assist in UK‑based consultancy projects for major motor sport construction projects in the Middle East and Far East regions. The role supports design, feasibility and operational consultancy services for motor sport, entertainment, and sports & leisure venue construction projects.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will coordinate technical and commercial requirements so that project operational business plans, feasibility studies and financial targets align with project design capabilities. Your contributions will include maintaining project P&Ls, operations and maintenance budgets, cashflow forecasts and various other related financial or commercial calculations, and producing reports to facilitate alignment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Coordinate project documentation such as design information, communications, design reviews, and internal technical documents by managing information and project records.
- Track project risks, actions, issues, decisions and critical changes, providing periodic reports to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project status reports summarizing key progress, risk and metrics, using dashboards for virtual and in‑person meetings.
- Help produce reports, presentations and financial calculations, consolidating stakeholder comments for review.
- Travel occasionally to client sites and high‑profile sporting events to meet stakeholders and demonstrate industry practice.
- Experience in a project‑based, engineering, or construction‑related industry, focusing on commercial requirements including P&Ls, cashflow analysis, and capex/opex planning.
- Degree in a technical discipline (engineering, mathematics, finance) highly valued.
- Project scheduling skills, familiarity with task planning tools such as Gantt or Kanban.
- Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software (Autodesk or Microstation) is a plus.
- Strong grasp of English and Maths (GSCE ‘C’ or ‘4’ level).
- Excellent communication and executive summary presentation skills.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the motor sport industry and racing circuits.
- Practical, organized, and keen eye for detail.
