Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Newbury)

Location: Newbury Contract: Minimum 6-week assignment Start: ASAP Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in their learning? A welcoming and well‑respected secondary school in Newbury is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their team for a minimum of 6 weeks
, with the potential for the role to extend.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across KS3–KS4 in a variety of subjects
• Manage the classroom and ensure a positive learning environment
• Support students in staying on task and meeting lesson objectives
• Follow school policies and uphold expectations around behaviour
• Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson
