SEN Class Teacher - Reading — ASAP Start — Full-Time Position

A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to join their supportive team. This is a full-time position within a specialist setting supporting children and young people aged 5-16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex learning needs.

This SEN Class Teacher role offers the opportunity to work in a nurturing, structured environment where every pupil is supported through personalised learning plans, therapeutic approaches, and a strong focus on emotional wellbeing.

• Role: SEN Class Teacher
• Location: Reading
• Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Long-term / Permanent opportunity
• Experience: SEN experience desirable but not essential

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils' academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
• Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families

• Qualified teacher with interest in inclusive education
• Experience with Autism, SEMH, or therapeutic approaches to learning is a plus
