We’re looking for compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist school in Reading. The school supports children with Autism and profound multiple learning difficulties, offering personal care and a range of therapies, including Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

• Support children with PDA and Autism in one-to-one or small group settings.
• Use creative and personalised strategies to help manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a holistic learning environment.
• Provide sensitive personal care and foster a nurturing, safe space for students to thrive.

• A passion for working with children with additional needs, especially PDA.
• Patience, empathy, and creativity in your approach.
• Excellent communication and the ability to build trust.
• Experience in SEN or education (helpful but not essential – full training provided).
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
