Senior Marketing Executive

We are looking to strengthen Adelphi Automation’s industry presence as the business moves into its next phase of growth, offering a salary of up to £45,000 and the chance to work closely with senior leadership in an innovative, engineering-led environment. This is an office-based role where your ideas will directly influence how the business is positioned across specialist markets.

About Adelphi Automation

Adelphi Automation is a highly respected UK automation and robotics specialist, delivering bespoke engineering solutions to complex manufacturing challenges. The business designs, builds and integrates automated systems for customers across multiple sectors, including advanced manufacturing, construction-related automation and product-based robotic solutions.

What makes Adelphi different is its consultative approach - combining deep technical expertise with long-term customer partnerships. Rather than one-off projects alone, the business is increasingly focusing on industry-specific positioning and scalable product solutions to reduce risk for customers and build sustained market presence. This strategic shift creates a genuine opportunity for marketing to play a central role in shaping the company’s future.

The Role

This is a newly created Senior Marketing Executive position, reflecting Adelphi Automation’s commitment to investing in its brand, market visibility and lead generation activity.

Reporting closely into senior leadership, you will take ownership of delivering structured, insight-led marketing activity that supports growth across the UK, Ireland and selected European markets. You will work alongside sales, engineering and project teams to translate highly technical solutions into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with decision-makers.

This role is office-based, as collaboration with engineering, sales and leadership teams is a key part of how Adelphi operates.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering integrated B2B marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels, aligned to commercial objectives.

Supporting lead generation strategies by identifying target industries, applications and customer segments.

Creating high-quality content including website copy, case studies, brochures, presentations, email campaigns and thought-leadership material.

Working closely with technical and engineering teams to extract complex information and turn it into clear, customer-focused messaging.

Managing website content with SEO best practice in mind to improve visibility and engagement.

Coordinating social media activity and monitoring performance to refine messaging and reach.

Supporting the planning and promotion of exhibitions, trade shows, open days and customer events.

Tracking, analysing and reporting on campaign performance, using insight to improve future activity.

Conducting market and competitor research to inform positioning, messaging and campaign focus.

Liaising with external suppliers such as designers, printers and digital agencies where required.

Providing marketing support to the sales team, including collateral for proposals and customer engagement.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Proven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, automation or a technical environment.

Strong content creation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns and measuring performance.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Confident working with internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.

Desirable:

Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant subject

Experience working in industrial, automation, robotics or technology-led sectors.

Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, CRM systems or marketing automation platforms.

Experience supporting exhibitions, trade shows or technical events.

What’s in It for You

Salary up to £40,000 - £45,000 DOE, depending on experience.

A genuinely influential role with visibility at senior leadership level.

The opportunity to shape how a growing automation business positions itself in key industries.

Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays rising with length of service

A stable, well-established business with a clear growth strategy and long-term vision.

The chance to develop your career within a specialist engineering environment where marketing is valued as a strategic function.
