A supportive and well‑resourced specialist school in Reading is seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis. This role involves working with children who present with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges, supporting them both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.

This Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant position is particularly well‑suited to graduates or aspiring professionals interested in psychology, mental health, education, youth work, or counselling.

  Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
• Location: Reading
• Pay: 89- 100 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Start Date: ASAP

• Supporting pupils in lessons to remain focused, calm, and engaged
• Helping manage challenging behaviour using positive and restorative approaches
• Providing 1:1 and small group behaviour support
• Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
• Creating a safe and structured environment that promotes emotional regulation
