Full time – 40 hours per week - On‑call: 1 in 7 non‑resident for Gynaecology at RBH
- Salary: £109,725 – £145,478 per annum

- Lead patient care on the 62‑day cancer pathway: diagnosis, treatment planning and surgical intervention.
- Attend weekly outpatient clinics at RBH.
- Participate in the Gynaecological Cancer MDT across both sites.
- Undertake elective surgical procedures including complex oncology cases.
- Provide clinical leadership for service improvement initiatives focused on pathway efficiency and surgical outcomes.
- Contribute to the non‑resident on‑call rota at RBH and provide acute gynaecology cover as required.
- Full registration with the GMC; eligible for registration within 6 months of CCST in (Speciality).
- Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom or equivalent.
- Colposcopy accredited.
- Fully trained in gynaecology.
- Previous responsibility for clinical governance and GMC Good Medical Practice.
- Experience in oncology and in a cancer tertiary centre.
- ATSMs in benign gynaecology hysteroscopy or medical education.
- Ability to work within clinical governance guidelines.
- Undertake audits and present data as required.
- Good IT skills; use of patient and hospital database.
- Track record of publications in peer review journals.
- Evidence of providing good teaching and supervision to trainees.
- Contribute to improving patient experience.
- View patients as individuals and involve them in decisions about their care.
- Work in partnership to deliver a patient‑centred service.
- Demonstrate an understanding and willingness to embrace user involvement.
