CDM Principal Designer

Overview

CDM Principal Designer – An Architecture practice with a trusted reputation in the housing and care home sector is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to work closely with their in-house design team to mitigate Design Risk (CDM).

Their expertise in the Residential and Care home sector will allow you to develop knowledge on a variety of projects, from large-scale towers to mixed-use HRBs.

This role supports hybrid work and career development, with opportunities to progress and grow experience.

• Involved in limiting major and all CDM-related risk during the design stages.
• Maintain clear communication to ensure handover to the Principal Contractor is as effective as possible.

• At least 3 years within a CDM or H&S / Principal Design / Design Risk Management role.
• NEBOSH Construction or a relevant level 3 equivalent H&S / NEBOSH certificate.

• Salary up to £53,000 per annum (negotiable based on ability and experience).
