Their work includes everything from housing-led regeneration and urban extensions to employment development and high-value strategic land promotion. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with structured development for planners working toward MRTPI.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to build strong consultancy planning experience in a thriving South East market.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications
• Drafting Planning Statements and supporting documentation
• Assisting with pre-application submissions and planning strategy research
• Supporting Local Plan representations and strategic site promotion
• Assisting with appeal submissions and evidence collation
• Liaising with local planning authorities and statutory consultees
• Attending client meetings, site visits and project calls

About You

• MRTPIqualified or actively working toward chartership
• Experience in consultancy, local authority or developer-side planning
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and client-focused approach
• Motivation to progress within a planning consultancy environment
