Senior Quantity Surveyor

Ceto Talent is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Infrastructure for a major water company's AMP8 investment programme. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage teams and provide strategic commercial support on major water infrastructure projects within a prestigious framework.

• Degree Level qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Extensive post-qualification experience on water infrastructure or similar capital delivery projects
• Proven experience managing and developing team members
• Strong commercial acumen and contractual knowledge
• Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills
• Experience working on AMP7 Frameworks for UK water companies (desirable)

• Manage and mentor Quantity Surveyor team members
• Provide contractual advice and support to the Capital Delivery Team
• Challenge, negotiate and agree complex project tenders
• Ensure contractual compliance and timely payments
• Assess and negotiate Quantum of Change and Extension of Time claims
• Support budget management and cost optimisation
• Audit and agree project accounts
• Support the Principal & Managing Quantity Surveyor with claims resolution
• Attend site meetings and stakeholder engagement

  :
  Reading and London sites (2 days per week on-site)
• Hours
  : 37.5 hours per week
• Start date
  : ASAP (ideally late February)
