Groundworks Foreman – RC Frame & Groundworks

Coinford is seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead teams on major RC frame and groundworks projects. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with extensive knowledge of groundworks operations and a proven ability to deliver high‑quality, safe, and on‑programme works
.

• Lead and manage groundworks teams, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and briefings on site
• Plan and ensure correct plant, materials, and sub‑contractors are on site to meet programme requirements
• Supervise excavation, drainage, ground beams, sub‑structure concrete, external works, road formation, oversite slabs, and cut/fill earthworks
• Safely manage works around buried services
• Interpret drawings, programmes, and specifications, converting them into practical site operations
• Engage with operatives to maintain H&S, quality, and production standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and site management, demonstrating strong commercial awareness

• Extensive experience in RC frame and groundworks operations
• Proven leadership of groundworks teams and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes and site delivery
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
