Recreation Channel Customer Business Manager

Reports to:
Vending, Rec & Travel Controller
Main accountability: lead the profitable development of Pepsi Co UK businesses (Walkers and Quaker) Through key Recreation customers, developing a D2C GTM model for food truck acceleration.
Responsibilities- Deliver transformational growth in the AFH channel through developing:
- A D2C model for Doritos Loaded and key culinary propositions as we accelerate our long term food vision within the AFH channel.
- Support the Channel controller in building the strategy to accelerate in the culinary space across all models, both D2C and B2B.
- Build strong relationships with RTM sector NAMS to support channel acceleration.
- Continue to build strong relationships and deliver growth across Stadia, Arena, Event and Attraction customers where culinary will be most prominent.
- Build a strategic agenda with your customers incorporating Multi Year JBPs with the aim of growing our core business and expanding our brand footprint.
- Collaborate with finance to build clear revenue models and align with Vending, Rec & Travel Controller, AFH Director and AFH Finance Controller to define the metrics.
- Own tracking and course correction procedures for own customers and direct reports.
- Work with ESSA/US colleagues to leverage scale at a global level to open up local opportunities and execute the culinary plans.
- Leverage all categories and portfolio.
- Maintain and develop strategic partnerships through World Class Customer Engagement (WCCE).
- Lead Top-to-top (T2T) interactions with your customers.
- Drive the day to day agenda with both a short term and long term lens.
- Identify new business opportunities throughout the wider Recreation, Leisure and Events channels.
- Success in a commercial role.
- Strong Understanding of bringing D2C models to the market.
- Strong understanding of selling foods and ingredients to the market.
- Strong drive for results with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture.
- A true “can do” attitude, showing bravery and strong work ethics to deliver results.
- Cross-functional experience in order to leverage internal partnerships both internally and externally.
- Experience managing change: understands the measures required to drive sales performance of an organisation.
- Influencing and negotiation skills: ability to drive agenda within both customer and Pepsi Co environment.
- Working with, or within, a major national food service customer (not essential).
- Working with customers to identify needs and deliver winning solutions.
- Commercial expertise to turn opportunities into commercial solutions for both businesses.
- Autonomous leadership of customer management & engagement.
- Leadership skills, to include coaching and development of future talent.
