Client Details
This opportunity is with a well-established multinational within the industrial and manufacturing industry. The organisation is known for its commitment to operational excellence and expertise in procurement and supply chain management.
Description
Develop and maintain accurate spare‑parts demand forecasts by leveraging historical data, market insights, and system analytics.
Oversee inventory levels across approximately 2,000 SKUs, ensuring strong availability while preventing excess stock.
Create and manage purchase orders in SAP, and coordinate with HQ on inbound shipment status.
Assess the current spare‑parts portfolio to identify low‑usage, declining, or end‑of‑life items for potential removal.
Work closely with the Aftersales team and Product Director to align stock planning and rationalisation decisions with business objectives.
Prepare and deliver SKU rationalisation proposals and insights to management.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data within ERP systems (SAP preferred) relating to spare‑parts projects.
Produce regular reports on inventory performance, demand accuracy, and obsolescence risk.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance inventory planning and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with HQ on the 2026 Spares Project.
Profile
A successful Demand Planner should have:
Minimum 2-3 years in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
Experience managing large SKU portfolios (preferably spares or aftermarket parts).
Knowledge of forecasting techniques and inventory optimization principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organized, able to manage large SKU portfolios effectively.
Job Offer
