The Head of Strategy & Insight will provide the strategic, analytical, and economic engine underpinning the organisation’s growth agenda.

This role supports the definition of group strategy across both Core and New Business portfolios, delivering market, financial, and data-led insight to guide investment and commercial decision‑making. By combining strategic thinking, economic modelling, and market intelligence, the role ensures that growth priorities are driven by clear evidence, robust analysis, and a shared understanding of value creation.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Strategy & Growth Lead in defining and updating the group strategy, integrating Core and New Business priorities.
- Coordinate inputs into the long‑term plan (LTP) and annual strategic planning cycle.
- Maintain consistency and quality of data, assumptions, and methodologies across all strategic documents and models.
- Lead market intelligence and competitive benchmarking across tower and digital infrastructure sectors.
- Track emerging technologies and adjacent markets (including small cells, edge compute, and IoT) to identify future growth opportunities.
- Conduct strategic analyses, scenario modelling, and portfolio reviews to inform leadership and board‑level decisions.
- Build and maintain financial and economic models for the macro estate and new ventures, analysing revenue, cost, tenancy, energy, and upgrade scenarios.
- Support the development of business cases for new products, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
- Provide sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess risk and support investment prioritisation.
- Produce clear, concise insight briefs for the CEO, Strategy & Growth Lead, and Senior Leadership Team.
- Contribute to board and shareholder materials, providing strategic narrative, market context, and performance insight.
- Proven experience in corporate strategy, business analysis, or commercial finance within telecoms, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
- Strong capability in building and managing financial and economic models to support investment decisions.
- Experience in market research, competitive benchmarking, and data analytics.
- Advanced analytical and structured thinking skills, paired with strong commercial intuition.
- Curious and proactive mindset, focused on generating insight rather than just reporting data.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
