Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a successful, people-focused motor group with strong training and career progression?

We’re working with a well-established, award-winning automotive group to recruit a fully skilled Technician for their dealership in Reading, joining an experienced and supportive workshop team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering a right first time approach to customer work.

Key responsibilities include:

* Vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair

* Accurate fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment

* Working towards productivity and efficiency targets

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service

* Clear communication with colleagues and management

Main dealer experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

* Time-served technician with proven workshop experience

* Confident using modern diagnostic tools

* Strong attention to detail and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence

What’s On Offer

* £32,000–£40,000 basic salary, plus bonus

* 40-hour week:
Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm + alternate Saturdays
